Hedgerow Pharmacy
When I cycle across Stourbridge common in Cambridge, and look at the sea of Nettles growing there each spring and later in the year see them mowed down I could weep. I think of how much nutrition could have been gotten from those humble plants, how many women could have been helped with infertility problems, how many arthritic joints could be eased, how they could be used to alleviate suffering from gout, kidney stones, eczema, fluid retention. . This is what motivates me to share my knowledge with you about how we can heal ourselves with common weeds and every day spices that are in our kitchen cupboards.
